These Terms govern your use of the TAU Icon Generator plugin and the tauicongenerator.com website. By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using the plugin, you agree to these Terms.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use TAU Icon Generator for your own projects or within your organization, subject to these Terms and any license terms shown at checkout or within the plugin.
You may not resell, sublicense, distribute, or make the plugin available as a hosted service. Reverse engineering, decompiling, or circumventing license controls is prohibited except to the extent allowed by law.
The plugin does not create an account with us. You bring and manage your own OpenAI API key. Your use of OpenAI is governed by OpenAI's terms and policies.
Payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe's own agreements and privacy policy.
API Key Security: You're responsible for securing your OpenAI API key on your device and for all usage, costs, and content generated with it.
Compliance: You must comply with applicable laws, these Terms, and any third-party terms (e.g., OpenAI).
Content: You are responsible for prompts, outputs, and any content you create or publish using the plugin, including ensuring you have the right to use such content.
Prices are shown at checkout. Payments are handled by Stripe. You authorize charges to the payment method you provide.
Taxes (e.g., sales/use/VAT where applicable) may be collected at checkout or are your responsibility where self-assessed.
Unless stated otherwise on the product page or required by law, all sales are final once the license key or download link is delivered. If you experience technical issues, contact taudevtools@gmail.com and we'll make reasonable efforts to help.
We may provide updates or bug fixes at our discretion. We don't guarantee any specific feature, roadmap, compatibility, or support response time.
The plugin and all related materials are owned by TAU Developer Tools and its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws.
You retain any rights you have in content you create with the plugin, subject to applicable third-party terms (e.g., OpenAI).
You may not use the plugin or site to: (a) violate laws; (b) infringe IP or privacy rights; (c) attempt unauthorized access to systems; (d) distribute malware; (e) generate illegal or harmful content; or (f) compete by copying or redistributing the plugin.
THE PLUGIN AND SITE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLUGIN WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE PLUGIN OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID FOR THE PLUGIN IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
You will indemnify and hold harmless TAU Developer Tools and our affiliates from any claims or liabilities arising out of your use of the plugin, your content, or your breach of these Terms or third-party terms.
We may suspend or terminate your license if you materially breach these Terms. Upon termination, your license ends and you must stop using the plugin.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we'll update the effective date and, where reasonable, post a notice on the site. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in North Carolina will have exclusive jurisdiction.
